Cem Hakverdi’s latest documentary "Burying the Bones" , a work-in-progress project, was screened at the Newcastle University and the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. Film is about a second generation Greek refugee making a journey back to İstanbul, his hometown, to bury his parents' bones.

Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK), kamu üniversitelerinde çalışan ve doktora eğitiminin tez aşamasında bulunan araştırma görevlilerine, yurtdışında 6 ay ila bir yıl araştırma yapma olanağı sunacak olan YÖK-YUDAB (Yurtdışı Doktora Araştırma Bursu) Programına ilişkin bir duyuru yayımladı.

The Center for Media at Risk at the Annenberg School for Communication (ASC), University of Pennsylvania is now accepting applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship to begin in the 2020-2021 academic year. The Center for Media at Risk fellow will spend one year at ASC engaging in teaching and research designed to further his or her professional development and the aims of the Center. The Center for Media at Risk is directed by Barbie Zelizer, Raymond Williams Professor of Communication at ASC.

Research Support Group has been established in order to encourage scientific research and publication activities within the Faculty of Communication of Istanbul Bilgi University.
